The Grand Okanagan

The Grand Okanagan Resort and Convention Centre commenced selling Vacation Homes and Time Shares in 1992.There were 29 beautiful 2 and 3 bedroom suites sold as vacation homes and 27 smaller 1 and 2 bedroom suites sold as time shares. Royal Host (Owners of the hotel) purchased back several of the Vacation Homes in 2000 and time shared them as well. There are between 1800 and 1900 time share owners currently having weekly leases at the resort. All leases are until 2092.

There are a total of 325 rooms and suites at the Grand surrounding a large man made lagoon in the centre of the complex for mooring your boat during your stay at the Hotel. The lagoon is accessible thru a lock system like that on the St. Lawrence River in Eastern Canada.

A large courtyard on the south side of the facility offers a large swimming pool and relaxing recreation area as well as an extension of an indoor pool and a large hot tub.There is direct access to the fantastic promenade that fronts on the hotel and extends along Lake Okanagan and the beautiful City Park to the north.

A fully equipped gymnasium and spa, beauty salon, and indoor pool and jacuzzi are also conveniently located for your convenience and pleasure.

For those who like gambling there is a BEAUTIFUL CASINO operated by Lake City Casinos in the hotel which offers a large variety of slot machines and your favorite card games.
